Copyright guidance.
What you may upload, what you own, and how to report a clip that uses your likeness or material without permission.
1. Upload only what you have the right to use
By uploading a photo you confirm that you own it or have permission from the person shown, and that you have the right to create a derived video from it. If a photo was taken by someone else, get their permission first — a paid credit does not grant rights to third-party images.
2. What is prohibited
- Photos of public figures used without consent, including politicians, celebrities and sports personalities.
- Any image of a minor, in any context.
- Deceptive impersonation: content presented as a real statement or endorsement by the person shown.
- Harassment, threats, sexual content, hate speech, or content that defames the person shown.
- Copyrighted characters, logos, artwork or footage used as reference material.
Violations terminate the account and forfeit remaining credits. We may also report serious abuse to the relevant authorities.
3. What you own
You keep ownership of your photos and of the video you generate, subject to the rights of anyone shown in the photos and to the provider terms behind the render. You are responsible for clearing those rights before commercial use. The track staging, prompt design and site content remain ours.
4. Soundtrack
The soundtrack is generated with the picture for this clip. It is not a licensed music track, and it is not cleared for separate distribution, Content ID registration, or use outside the video.
5. Reporting a violation
Email support@hotellobbymaker.org with the subject line “Takedown”. Include:
- The link to the clip or the account.
- What material or likeness is affected.
- A statement that you own the rights or are authorised to act for the owner.
- Your contact details and a good-faith statement.
We acknowledge within two business days, remove clearly infringing content while we review, and notify the uploader. Repeat infringers lose access permanently.
6. Counter-notice
If your clip was removed and you believe the report was mistaken, reply to the takedown email with an explanation and evidence of your rights. We may restore the clip if the reporter does not pursue the claim.
7. Repeat-infringer policy
Accounts that receive repeated valid reports are suspended, and remaining credits are forfeited. We keep a record of reports so the same account cannot simply re-register.
